BioCAN was represented at BTechPro! Conference which took place on May 6-8, 2026, in Riga and Sigulda!

Anna Rēzija Āboltiņa from the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry presented BioCAN results “Synthesis of Aza-Michael donors from waste oil and waste oil derivatives for covalently adaptable thermoset networks.” We must note that this was Anna’s first oral presentation at a scientific conference, as she is only a bachelor’s student! 💪 Here, at BioCAN, we are passionate about creating social impact opportunities for the next generation of researchers through research and community engagement. We aim to empower young students to explore academic careers while developing real-world solutions.
