Excited to share CUNI’s participation in the GCNPM 2026, held in San Sebastián from June 15–17, 2026.

Ondrej Kopilec from Charles University participated in the 12th edition of the Green Chemistry and Nanotechnologies in Polymeric Materials (GCNPM 2026), taking place in Donostia – San Sebastián, Spain, from June 15 to 17, 2026.

The work presented at GCNPM 2026 investigated the influence of individual monomers on the resulting vitrimer properties and established the optimal monomer ratios. In addition, a fully bio-based monomer was identified and demonstrated performance comparable to that of commonly used petroleum-derived monomers in vitrimer formulations.

This well-organized conference generated new research ideas, strengthened existing collaborations with colleagues, and facilitated the development of new professional connections and partnerships.
